riverhomes joins Ombudsman for Estate Agents

riverhomes is pleased to join The Ombudsman for Estate Agents (OEA) Scheme which offers an independent service for dealing with disputes between Member Agencies and consumers who are actual or potential buyers or sellers of residential property in the UK. The Ombudsman is independent of the Member Agencies and provides a free, fair and impartial review of complaints falling within his Terms of Reference.
riverhomes is also voluntary members of both regulatory bodies; the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) and The Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA).

riverhomes recently enjoyed their 4th summer outing - this year to Paris where the sun shone and a wonderful day was had by all.  After practising our ticket buying skills at the Gare du Nord, we hopped on the metro to St Germain where we enjoyed an excellent 3 course lunch at Le Square including steak, scallops and snails!  Thereafter, we made various jaunts about the city taking in the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Sacre Coeur, Monmartre and the Seine admiring the houseboats and river life Paris style!

TV company, Enteraction, followed riverhomes.co.uk’s Directors and staff over a period of two months in the summer of 2004 for an ITV 1 programme in the specialist business series ‘In Good Company’. The programme had mentor Adam Balon, co-founder of the Innocent Drinks group, offering his observations on riverhomes.co.uk’s progress and advising how to maximise the opportunities for growth. His suggestions centred around marketing and revamping the website to try to capture more of the passion he experienced when he talked to the riverhomes.co.uk team.  Based on the huge marketing success of the Innocent smoothie empire, he advised riverhomes.co.uk’s Directors to try for more distinctive advertising to reflect riverhomes.co.uk’s unique selling point of specialising only in waterside property.
